In both classical and contemporary settings frieze mouldings enhance the architecture of a room. Frieze mouldings are usually highly ordorned with interesting designs that capture the eye. Frieze moldings are generally used to complement a cove or crown moulding. Frieze mouldings add height to the plaster molding without adding unwanted projection. Although not traditionally considered a stand-alone product frieze mouldings can be used in place of a crown or cove moulding when little or no projection is wanted in a small room. |
